The Bachelor of Science in Health Studies Pre-Professional major prepares you for application to medical school, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and many other allied health graduate programs.
The degree program provides students with advanced knowledge in biology, physical sciences, statistics, applied research, public and private healthcare delivery, healthcare law and ethics, teamwork, cultural awareness, and professionalism. In addition, the degree also prepares students to pursue administrative roles in healthcare.

The BS Health Studies Pre-Professional program prepares students for their advanced,
professional degree after the bachelor’s degree or to gain employment as a healthcare
leader. Though high-quality education, students will develop leadership values, essential
healthcare operations management skills, cultural awareness, interpersonal skills,
and sound knowledge in biological and applied sciences needed to be successful in
today’s health and human service settings.
