Program Review

Every year program faculty members, current students, alumni, and the Counseling Advisory Committee assess and evaluate the mission, purpose, goal, and objectives for the Counseling Program at ÍøÆØÃÅ. These above statements guide the curriculum.

Acquired information is considered along with accreditation standards by regional and professional accrediting bodies, public policy changes that occur in the state of Louisiana or at the federal level that impact the profession, shifts in the field of practice as we know it, and new research findings pertinent to the profession. Information thus acquired is integrated into the curricula as appropriate.
