The Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at ÍøÆØÃÅ prepares students for a variety of exciting career options. In addition to students wanting to pursue careers or graduate school training in one of the many biological science disciplines, a Biology degree can also fulfill requirements for admission to medical, dental, veterinary, optometry, or pharmacy schools.
Students interested in a pre-professional curriculum will be assigned a highly knowledgeable pre-professional advisor to ensure that they take courses that will best suit their future plans. For more information on pre-professional advising click here.
In addition to the general Biology degree, students may also pursue concentrations in the following areas: Chemical Biology, Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, and Molecular Biology & Biotechnology.
Students may also choose to minor in Biology, a program that requires 23 hours of biology coursework, or pursue a major or minor in Biology Education.
