A PGY1 Pharmacy Residency through University of Louisiana Monroe will afford graduating residents with the unique opportunity of having experienced the three pillars of a clinical faculty position – service, teaching and scholarship. Our programs emphasize the role of pharmacists as educators, while providing diverse rotational experiences at our partner institutions.
We have two PGY1 positions available. Our programs will operate concurrently with one resident based out of ÍøÆØÃÅ COP’s main campus in Monroe, LA and a second resident based out of ÍøÆØÃÅ COP’s New Orleans Regional Campus.
Benefits
ÍøÆØÃÅ COP’s PGY1 residents will receive a competitive annual stipend. Residents will have a designated office space at each campus with a computer, free parking and a white coat. A travel stipend will also be provided for travel to ASHP’s Midyear Clinical Meeting, LSHP’s Annual Meeting and a regional pharmacy residents conference in the spring to present their research project. In addition, health care benefits, paid time off and sick leave will be offered in accordance with ÍøÆØÃÅ. ÍøÆØÃÅ does observe, and close for, official state holidays.
