The School of Allied Health (SOAH) acknowledges the extraordinary efforts of their faculty, students, and staff annually. Recipients are formally recognized at an event in Spring of 2024.
This award recognizes, encourages, and rewards superior teachers – individuals whose command of their respective disciplines, teaching methodologies, communications skills, concern for student performance, and commitment to the learning process exemplify the teacher/mentor model. Nominations may be made by any fellow faculty, administrators, staff, students, or alumni. Self-nominations also accepted. Winners receive an acrylic award plaque, a featured article on the ÍøÆØÃÅ website, the local newspaper, and a monetary award for $1,000.
This award recognizes an outstanding undergraduate student in the SOAH who has displayed excellent character, noteworthy academic accomplishments, and distinctive leadership/service while at ÍøÆØÃÅ. Nominations may be made by any faculty, program director, school director, administrator at ÍøÆØÃÅ. Winners receive a wooden engraved plaque, a featured article on the ÍøÆØÃÅ website and the local newspaper.
This award recognizes an outstanding graduate student in the SOAH who has made exemplary contributions regarding academics, teaching and/or research. The student demonstrates noteworthy academic accomplishments, excellent character in interactions, excellent university and/or service involvement, and noteworthy professional activities. Nominations may be made by any faculty, program director, school director, or administrator. Winners receive a wooden engraved plaque, a featured article on the ÍøÆØÃÅ website and the local newspaper.
This award recognizes an outstanding alumnus demonstrating exceptional academic or non-academic achievements since graduation from the School of Allied Health. Nominees should have achieved prominence in their academic or professional careers. Nominations may be made by any faculty, student, program director, school director, or administrator at ÍøÆØÃÅ. Winners receive an acrylic award plaque, a featured article on the ÍøÆØÃÅ website, and the local newspaper.
This award is to recognize clerical and staff who demonstrate outstanding customer service, initiative, dependability, teamwork, and a positive attitude in the SOAH and the College of Health Sciences. Winner will receive a STAR award trophy, a $1000 check, and a featured article on the College of Health Science website.
