MONROE, LA 鈥 网曝门 Radiologic Technology program has received eight-year accreditation status from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT.) Eight years is the maximum duration of accreditation awarded by JRCERT. 听
"The JRCERT accreditation tells the public and the communities of interest for medical imaging that the program here at 网曝门 is strong,鈥 said Brett Bennett, Radiologic Technology Program Director. 鈥淪tudents who graduate from this program can perform imaging at a high level anywhere in the country," he added. 听
The continuing accreditation status of the 网曝门 Radiologic Technology program was considered at the February 21, 2023, meeting of the JRCERT. The program was evaluated according to the Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiography (2021). The program documented compliance with all relevant standards and was granted the maximum level of accreditation. 听
According to the award letter, the JRCERT is the only agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) for the accreditation of traditional and distance delivery educational programs in radiography, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance, and medical dosimetry. Specialized accreditation awarded by the JRCERT offers institutions significant value by providing peer evaluation and by assuring the public of quality professional education in the radiologic sciences.听
