For the fourth consecutive year, the University of Louisiana Monroe Mock Trial Team has advanced to the opening round of the AMTA National Championships. 网曝门 is the only school from Louisiana to advance each of the last four years.
The 网曝门 Gold Team Attorneys are Jorden Johnson, a junior from Monroe; Erin McManus,
a senior from Vacherie; and Isiah Chavis, a sophomore from Church Pointe. Gold Team
Witnesses听are Dorae Dadgar, a junior from West Monroe; Antonia Harris, a junior from
Tioga; Drew Fenske, a junior from Monroe; Elliott Gonzalez, a junior who has lived
throughout the United States; Sarah Cheathem, a junior from Luling and K'Breante Bowie,
a sophomore from Franklin. The Gold teams are coached by local attorney Bob Noel.

鈥淥ur team defeated LSU, UAB, and Mississippi College,鈥 Noel said. 鈥溚孛 student Jorden
Johnson, who is the daughter of local Judge Robert Johnson, won Best Attorney. Our
team also won third place for Spirit of the AMTA 鈥 an award given to the team that
shows the best collegiality, professionalism, and enthusiasm.鈥

The Maroon Team, coached by local attorney Kyle Moore, finished the regional with
a 3-4-1 record. Team captain is Shelby Joyner with members Nick McBride, Taylor Houston,
Olivia Myers, Cameron Ott, Lydia Mills, Bre Wright, and Destinque Fulgence.

The 网曝门 team travels to Rhodes College in Memphis, March 23-25 for the opening of
the National Championships.
