In conjunction with the opening of West Side Story鈥攖he 2015 spring musical at the
University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥攁n expert panel discussion will be held at 6:30
p.m., March 26, in Brown Auditorium, ahead of the opening night performance.
The panel discussion is free for those with a ticket to Thursday night鈥檚 performance
of West Side Story. The show will follow the panel discussion at 7:30 p.m.
The panel will discuss the relevancy and significance of West Side Story鈥檚 plotline
and cultural impact to today鈥檚 audience.
Panelists include 网曝门 faculty members: Dr. Joshua Stockley, Dr. Mel Mobley, Dr. Neil
White, Dr. Bob Eisenstadt, and Dr. Jana Giles.
Jay Curtis, general manager at KEDM Public Radio, will serve as the discussion moderator.
