Melinda F. Matthews, University of Louisiana at Monroe Interlibrary Loan/Reference
Librarian recently wrote a book review of 鈥淢aureen O'Hara: A Biography,鈥� by Aubrey
Malone, published in Southeastern Librarian vol. 62 no. 2.
The biography highlights the life and career of Maureen O鈥橦ara, a screen actress whose
career spanned from the 1930s, all the way to the 2000s. O鈥橦ara was a pivotal member
of what is called cinemas 鈥済olden age.鈥�
Matthews also recently wrote a book review of 鈥淪ay No to Bullying鈥� by Louise Spilsbury
and Mike Gordon.
Matthews has worked at the University Library since 1990, when she started as the
Humanities Reference Librarian.
She has held the Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian position since 1992.
