Alberta Brown Green, a Monroe native is the Director of Information Technology Initiatives for North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP).听

Green heads up business recruitment and retention efforts focused on expanding North Louisiana鈥檚 technology sector.

Alberta also is the owner of ABG Counseling and Career Consulting where she provides Career Counseling, Mental Health Counseling and Life Coaching.
听
Previously, Alberta worked at CenturyLink, a Fortune 200 company, where she served as a Sourcing Recruiter, a Lead Organizational Effectiveness Consultant and a Leadership Development Consultant.

Prior to joining CenturyLink, Green worked at听the University of Louisiana Monroe听for more than four years in various roles, including the Director of 网曝门鈥檚 Career Connections department.听

Green听earned both her degrees from the University of Louisiana Monroe and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

She听is very involved in the community, serving on numerous boards including the 网曝门 Foundation Board, Christopher House Board, the Monroe Symphony Orchestra Board and the Board of Directors of University Health Conway.

She recently was honored as the 网曝门 2015 Rising Young 网曝门 Alumni听and was featured听as one of the 鈥淭op 20 under 40鈥� recipients for northeast Louisiana.

Alberta has been married to her love, Toby Green, for 15 years and has two precious boys 鈥� Toby Jr, 13 and Jacob 9.

Alberta is a听supporter of Military men and women, a lover of innovative technology and gadgets, music, theatre, and the arts.听
