ÍøÆØÃÅ to host Super Warhawk Weekend March 22-24

The University of Louisiana at Monroe invites the community to bring family and friends to ÍøÆØÃÅ, March 22-24, to enjoy Super Warhawk Weekend activities, including the annual Maroon and Gold football game, Warhawk Baseball, and the La’ Louisianne Crawfish Boil, sponsored by ÍøÆØÃÅ’s Ouachita Parish Alumni Chapter.

Families with high school juniors and seniors are also encouraged to attend ÍøÆØÃÅ’s annual Browse on the Bayou, from 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Saturday, March 23.

The event schedule is as follows:

Friday, March 22:
At 6 p.m., at Warhawk Field on the ÍøÆØÃÅ campus, Warhawk Baseball will take on Troy University. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for youth, and $12 for reserved sections. ÍøÆØÃÅ students get in free with ÍøÆØÃÅ ID.

Saturday, March 23:
Browse on the Bayou will take place from 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Browse is a specially designed campus visitation day where high school juniors and seniors visit with ÍøÆØÃÅ faculty students about academic degree programs and life at ÍøÆØÃÅ. Pre-registration is required.

ÍøÆØÃÅ Sand Volleyball
games will take place all day on the ÍøÆØÃÅ sand volleyball courts, located behind Heard Tennis Stadium on the ÍøÆØÃÅ campus.

From 12:30-2:30 p.m., the La’ Louisianne Crawfish Boil will take place in the south end of Malone Stadium. Crawfish and all the trimmings will be served. Cost to attend is $25 per person. The Anna Gray Noe Alumni Center will serve as the alternate rain location.

Welcome back Warhawk Football in 2013 at the annual Maroon and Gold Spring Football Game at 1 p.m., in Malone Stadium. This event is free and open to the public

The final Saturday event is the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Greek Step Show in Fant Ewing Coliseum on the ÍøÆØÃÅ campus, at 6 p.m. Presale tickets are currently $10, and will be $15 at the door.

Sunday, March 24:
At 1 p.m., the final baseball game of Super Warhawk Weekend matches ÍøÆØÃÅ against Troy as the teams finish up the three game series at Warhawk Field. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for youth, and $12 for reserved sections. ÍøÆØÃÅ students get in free with ÍøÆØÃÅ ID.
