’s Anderson speaks at recent presentations on the Titanic and Voodoo

Jeffrey Anderson, assistant professor of history at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, has been a busy community presenter lately.

On Tuesday, April 10, he spoke at the Carver Branch of the Ouachita Parish Public Library on the topic of the Titanic, and why “people wrongly considered it to be unsinkable.”

On Thursday, April 19, he presented on the same subject at the Lincoln Parish Library in Ruston.

Anderson is tentatively scheduled to repeat the talks during the summer at the main branch of the Ouachita Parish Public Library and later at a library in Vidalia.

On Monday, April 23, he presented a brief paper on Voodoo to the Louisiana Tech Phi Alpha Theta chapter during an annual dinner.
