ÍøÆØÃÅ's Oct. 28 Homecoming events open to the public
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Campus Activities Board would like to invite students, faculty, staff, and the public at large to some of Homecoming's best events.
At 7:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, ÍøÆØÃÅ will hold its first Homecoming Parade since 2003. The parade will feature floats decorated by student organization members, and students on each float will be tossing out candy and prizes to the crowd.
The parade route will begin on University Avenue, continue along Northeast Drive and end at The Grove with a pep rally, bonfire and a block party featuring Lafayette band Vagabond Swing.
Those in attendance are encouraged to line up on the right side of all streets along the parade route for closest proximity to the floats.
