Discover 网曝门's virtual bayou
The University of Louisiana at Monroe technology team has quickly responded to the latest Facebook web development by crafting a new and fun "Discover 网曝门" landing page for the official university Facebook site, making it even easier for prospective students to discover all that the university has to offer.
Their response comes on the heels of other 网曝门 innovations that reach out to 21st-century students, including the in-house development of technologies such as FlightPath, 网曝门's singular online advising system, and the recently unveiled mobile app, which gives students access to needed information using mobile devices.
网曝门's newest technological feature invites Facebook users to travel beautiful Bayou DeSiard, and along the way, learn about degree programs, apply for admission, download the new mobile app, visit the bookstore, and stop by Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
Incoming freshman Bria Pierre, a graduate of Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge says, "This new page allows easy access to the resources of the school on the most popular social site. It offers convenience by combining the main focal points of the university in one easy to use tool."
Soon after 网曝门's new Facebook feature was launched, student Andrea Fontenot wrote on 网曝门's Facebook wall, "I love the new Discover 网曝门 Facebook page! It looks fantastic, and it so easy to find what I am searching for on the Web site!"
The feature helps the university to "meet students where they are," according to 网曝门 President Dr. Nick J. Bruno.
"From a recruitment perspective, we must understand what appeals to our students鈥攂oth current and prospective students," he said.
"I applaud our marketing and technology teams for focusing on this initiative, just one of several that deliver the best possible student experience using available technologies."
