网曝门 student shines singing the National Anthem at Sunbelt Conference

A University of Louisiana at Monroe sophomore dental hygiene major experienced one of the highpoints of her college career by singing the National Anthem at the 2011 Sunbelt Conference Baseball Tournament.

Hayley Masters, of Monroe, has been singing since she was a little girl when she wrote and recorded her first song at age seven.

Since then, she has been singing to a wide audience, recently releasing her second album, "Lead Me," and has made numerous local television and radio appearances.

Masters works in the 网曝门 Athletic Department.

Since 网曝门 was the host to the conference, a supervisor at work asked her to sing the National Anthem to help showcase some of the other talent 网曝门 has to offer.

The Sunbelt Conference was hosted at 网曝门's Warhawk Field from May 25 to 29 with eight competing baseball teams in a round robin tournament.

Masters sang the National Anthem on May 27 before the first pitch of the day.

"Stepping out onto the 网曝门 baseball field to sing the 'Star Spangled Banner' was a highlight for me," Masters said.

"When I was asked to sing the anthem not only at 网曝门, but also for this regional conference, I was very excited and honored."
