Fire alarm activated; CNSB building declared safe within one hour

At approximately 10:30 a.m. today, 网曝门's Police Department quickly responded to a fire alarm in the Chemistry and Natural Science Building.

网曝门 police contacted the Monroe City Fire Department, which responded with the Hazmat team per standard operating procedure. The building was immediately evacuated.

Classes in progress were dismissed, as were the 11 a.m. classes. The building was cleared for re-entry at approximately 11:25 a.m. There were no injuries. The exact cause of the fire alarm's activation is still under investigation.

网曝门 Interim President Dr. Stephen Richters commended the work of all emergency personnel who responded to the incident.
