ÍøÆØÃÅ annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony scheduled Nov. 30
The ÍøÆØÃÅ campus will be aglow with the Christmas spirit as ÍøÆØÃÅ kicks off the holiday season with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Scott Plaza.
A full slate of events are scheduled starting at 5 p.m., including a visit from jolly Saint Nicholas himself as he arrives in the Acemobile ready with treats for the children. Ace the Warhawk will also lend a hand in the festivities.
As usual, the ÍøÆØÃÅ Chorale and Brass Choir will fill the plaza with song as they perform traditional Christmas carols. Participants will also be invited to sing during the Candle Lighting ceremony, and ÍøÆØÃÅ President Nick Bruno will draw the name of some lucky young person who will be invited to help pull the switch to light the plaza.
The public and campus family are invited to attend this fun-filled holiday celebration sponsored by the ÍøÆØÃÅ Student Government Association. The event follows the annual Employee Holiday Reception in the ÍøÆØÃÅ Conference Center, scheduled from 3–5 p.m.
