to honor military at football game on Saturday

will host its annual Military Day on Saturday when the Warhawks host Western Kentucky at 3 p.m. in Malone Stadium. A victory over the Hilltoppers will make bowl eligible for the second time in three seasons.

Fans are encouraged to arrive on campus early as each of the military branches will have interactive exhibits in front of Malone Stadium. In addition, an Army Black Hawk helicopter will be parked outside the stadium and fans will have an opportunity to get an up-close look at the helicopter and meet the pilots.

The action moves inside Malone Stadium at approximately 2:40 p.m. when skydivers will parachute into the stadium with the game ball. Following the National Anthem, which will be sung by Miss Louisiana Katherine Putnam, the Air Force will do a fly-over of Malone Stadium.

The Sound of Today will perform its “Salute to the Armed Forces” halftime show in which several active soldiers will take part in a reenlistment ceremony.

Tickets for the game can be purchased by calling 318-342-3, by visiting the ticket office in Malone Stadium or online at ulmwarhawks.com.
