ÍøÆØÃÅ Golden Society holds induction for class of 1959
The University of Louisiana at Monroe honored the class of 1959 at the annual Golden Society Dinner. The event was held Tuesday, May 12, in the Anna Gray Noe Alumni Center.
Upon induction, the 1959 graduates received special 50-year diplomas. The newest Golden Society inductees are: Jon Barker, Faye Haddox, Alvin Leach, Janice Little, Roland Lormand, Hazel McLawchlin, James Mock, Inez Spangler, and Bobbie Tisdale.
Charles and Willie Lois Crockett were also in attendance; Charles Crockett graduated in 1941.
In May 1983, the ÍøÆØÃÅ Alumni Association organized the Golden Society to recognize and honor the University's 50-year graduates.
