Children’s Expo scheduled for Oct. 18; Ace to make special appearance

Children ages two-12 years old are invited to the free University of Louisiana Monroe Children’s Expo Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10-11:30 a.m. in Filhiol Hall. As a special treat, ’s mascot Ace will appear “in person” at 10:30 a.m.

All children must be accompanied by a parent. Fun-filled activities include art, music, a LA Purchase Gardens and Zoo contribution, games, spin top art, face painting, pick up ducks, and a jumper.

The event is an annual Homecoming Week tradition and is sponsored by the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences and the Child Development Center.
