LSBDC at to offer “Advanced QuickBooks” workshop Aug 9 and 16

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will offer a workshop concerning Advanced QuickBooks during August.

The instructor will be Chris Thrash of Little and Associates.

“Advanced QuickBooks” will occur Saturday, Aug. 9 and Aug. 16, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Administration Building, room 3 – 51. There is a $100 per person fee (book included).

This is a continuation of the “QuickBooks for Beginners” class. It expands and goes into an in-depth discussion on entering data on employees and payroll, 1099s and 1099s dealing with subcontract employees, monthly reports, year-end reports, business taxes, job costing, and segregation of business and personal items.

All learning is done with one person per computer. Participants must have a basic working knowledge of computers. These classes will not cover basic computer skills. Registration is a must to ensure availability of computers and books.
