ÍøÆØÃÅ New Faculty Orientation scheduled for Aug. 10
New Faculty Orientation at ÍøÆØÃÅ will be held Friday, Aug. 10 from 8 a.m. – noon.
According to Mona Oliver, director of the Teaching and Learning Resource Center, the schedule begins with a breakfast in the Student Union Building, Ballroom B. President James E. Cofer, Sr. will welcome the newcomers.
Afterwards, participants will move to Ballroom C for a series of specific sessions with appropriate unit heads and Human Resources personnel. In addition, each new faculty member will receive a packet of information prepared by the TLRC and can browse display tables set up so that a number of campus services may showcase what they have to offer to those interested. Representatives of some of those services will also be present to answer any questions.
