College of Pharmacy Golf Classic scheduled for April 27

’s College of Pharmacy is hosting its Second Annual Golf Classic Friday, April 27 at Frenchman’s Bend Golf Course.

Participants will enjoy a day of golf, food and fun for everyone. The day will begin with a “Shotgun Start” at 11 a.m. First and second place awards will be given for each flight after the tournament.

The contest includes: closest to the line (front 9), longest drive (back 9) and closest to the pin (2). Each additional stroke can be purchased for $5.

The sponsorship levels are: $750 donation, which includes a free four-man team, a 6x9 banner, and a hole sponsorship sign; $175 donation, which includes one team member slot and a hole sponsorship sign; and $100 donation, which includes a hole sponsorship sign. Food and beverage donation includes a company banner poster and a free four-man team.

Immediately following the tournament, the COP will host a Cajun/Hawaiian “Couchon de lait” and a silent auction at the new pharmacy building located on Bienville Drive.

Registration deadline is Saturday, April 14.

Proceeds from the golf classic will benefit the COP Learning Resource Center/Library.
