La’ Louisianne Crawfish Boil to Add Extra Spice to Spring Football Game

ÍøÆØÃÅ football fans will have the opportunity to add another southern favorite to their game experience by attending the La’ Louisianne Crawfish Boil Saturday, April 8. The event will occur from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the North End Zone of Malone Stadium, followed by the ÍøÆØÃÅ Spring Game at 1 p.m.

La’ Louisianne is a crawfish boil hosted by the ÍøÆØÃÅ Alumni Association with the intent of bringing alumni and friends of the University together in celebration and fellowship. Besides the Spring Game, La’ Louisianne happens in conjunction with other annual Maroon and Gold Weekend events like the Alumni Association’s annual meeting.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. This includes all-you-can-eat fresh crawfish that are cooked on-site, corn, potatoes, condiments, soft drinks, and beer. Live entertainment will be provided by the Mason Grenade Band, which consists of ÍøÆØÃÅ alumni.  Also to be included are children’s activities, crawfish races and other attractions.
