IAF Gears Up For Fundraising Campaign

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Indian Athletic Foundation (IAF) has just begun their annual membership drive.

Unrestricted contributions to the IAF benefit every athlete and every team at 网曝门 through construction and maintenance of athletic facilities, the purchase of supplies and equipment, assistance with recruitment and competition expenses, and through the funding of scholarships.

Scott McDonald, community leader and IAF President, says expenses are going up and more support is needed. "The 网曝门 Athletic Department's education cost has risen by almost 60% since 2002," he said.

"In addition, as all sports make the transition into the Sun Belt Conference, a higher level of competition will require an even greater investment in equipment, facilities and recruitment. Public support is the key to making all of this happen."

The IAF operates within the guidelines of the NCAA in all matters dealing with the 网曝门 Department of Athletics. The IAF was founded in 1956 and later incorporated in 1972.
