网曝门 Mardi Gras Ball Sells Out


The University of Louisiana at Monroe Student Government Association's (SGA) 3rd annual Mardi Gras Ball, which was held on February 3rd at the Atrium in Monroe, was a sellout for the first time. The Atrium only allows for a little over 500 attendees to the ball and 网曝门 sold out all tickets to the event by Wednesday.

During the ball, 网曝门's Mardi Gras King and Queen were presented to the crowd. King Bryan Warning is a senior marketing major from New Orleans. He was nominated by the Marketing fraternity, Pi Sigma Epsilon, in the College of Business Administration.

Queen Meagan Crump is a Radiologic Technology major from Haynesville who was nominated by AOPi Sorority. She is a senior and former president of Alpha Omicron Pi on the 网曝门 campus.

Along with the king and queen came the presentation of the first-ever Krewe of Mercury. The Krewe is made up of SGA Senators. The Krewe is as follows: Blake Anderson, Crystal Kelley, Lexie Jo Kimble, Damien Lombardo, Michelle Miers, Jamal Smith, Melanie Taylor, and Melanie Williams - Health Sciences Senators. Kristen Brown, Rob Carroll, Andrea Ford, Rebel Fornea, Kyle Gallman, Vandolyn Jeter, Mercedes Ramcharan, and Jessica Westbrook are from Arts and Sciences. Michelle Biley, James W. Moore, Bryan Warning and David Westbrook are senators from Business Administration. Sharlie Barnum, Jennifer Goodwin and Lila Tyler are from Education and Human Development. Valarie Navarro, Natasha Williams, Lacie Fain and Matthew Sewell are class presidents.

Participants in the Mardi Gras Ball were treated to food, music, dancing and traditional Mardi Gras beads.
