ÍøÆØÃÅ Extends Deadline for TeachNortheast
Professionals can apply to TeachNortheast until March 31, 2004
The TeachNortheast program at the University of Louisiana at Monroe has extended its application deadline to Wednesday, March 31 for aspiring teachers who wish to begin the program in the summer. Interested community members can contact www.ulm.edu/teach or call 318-342-3000 immediately to apply.
TeachNortheast recruits outstanding professionals interested in teaching special education, elementary education, and secondary education to participate in the ÍøÆØÃÅ Practitioner Teacher Program or the Master's Alternative Certification Program while they serve as teachers in schools that need them most. The program is looking for degreed professionals from a variety of careers, as well as recent college graduates, to bring their experience, knowledge and records of achievement to public schools in northeast Louisiana.
