Japanese Calligraphy Class Offered at ÍøÆØÃÅ

Continuing Education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will be offering a class on Japanese Calligraphy, the ancient art of Japanese culture. The class will focus on the basic techniques of Japanese calligraphy and will consist of practicing balance, strokes, stops and splashes.

The class will meet on Tuesdays in February and in March. The dates for the class are: February 18th, 25th, and March 4th and 11th from 7 ­ 8 p.m. Course fee is $120 and will include instruction and equipment. The instructor for the course is Nobu Asaoka.
