ÍøÆØÃÅ Hosts Louisiana Communication Association Convention
The Louisiana Communication Association (LCA) will be holding its fifth annual conference on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus in Brown Hall, Saturday, August 24, 2002. Dr. Bill Balthrop, National Communication Association president, will be the keynote speaker.
Presenters at the program will be from Louisiana universities and include communication scholars and students, graduate students, communication teachers, and administrators. Government officials are invited to attend. The conference theme is "Communicative Responses to a Changing World." Conference fee is $20.00 for members and nonmembers.
LCA is a state communication organization supported by the National Communication Association in Washington, DC. NCA and LCA members often conduct research on and/or teach communication (small group communication, interpersonal communication, public speaking, cross-cultural communication, communication theory, etc).
